Via Luis Vera, who kicked off the initial house-of-cards collapse of Trestle Press’s authorship over its flagrant use of unlicensed images, it seems the “company” (one man who uses the rather delicious* false name of Giovanni Gelati) is being sued by a former author. (Edit: Luis’ post pulled probably because it’d be commenting on legal action.)
It seems everything will come out in the wash when the complaint is formally served.
Incidentally, I checked Trestle’s website last week just to see if all it had to its name still were the last couple of barking mad holdouts and the Amish, but there’s a whole new slew of writers on the roster presumably unaware of the company’s history. Same shoddy font, same badly-resized designs…
