There’s a mixed review for THE LEVELS inĀ the Telegraph. By and large it’s pretty positive and certainly blurbable, but what I’m genuinely curious about is this “litany of the classic movies that inspired the setting and set pieces”. Not because I want to nitpick a review/er, but because I’m really not aware of that many movies (certainly not “classic” ones) that cover this kind of ground. As mentioned in the interview with Steve, CANDYMAN’s one - but it’s the only one I can think of. Books and computer games, certainly, but movies… I struggle to think of any. Know any good ones? I’m always game for a watch. Answers to Twitter/FB/the Wall.
