A friend of mine who I haven't seen in years was once approached by a local band looking for a rhythm guitarist. He thought their singer was a "total cock", if I remember his words right, and told them he wasn't interested. Instead, Toploader got in Dan Hipgrave to fill the slot, eventually made it big (albeit briefly) and Hipgrave ended up marrying Gail Porter. We were forbidden from mentioning them in Greg's earshot while they were still around. I think he was a little annoyed at missing his big chance in the music biz. So does that mean you live in Eastbourne, or is this a post-band-leaving-Eastbourne house? Now that’s weird. On and off untill 2am usually. The band grew up to be Toploader (who have now sunk into oblivion, ::::evil cackle:::) and bizarly, we now live in what was their house!
